JeunExpat
CFE health insurance plan reserved for expats under 30, with a reduced premium compared with the general plan and the same benefits worldwide.
JeunExpat Santé covers the same treatments as CFE’s general plan (consultations, medication, hospitalization, maternity care, dental care, emergency transport, vaccines) anywhere in the world, including during stays of less than three months in France. It is open with no medical questionnaire, as an individual or family membership, to anyone under 30 who is moving abroad, whether employed, self-employed, a student, or a volunteer.
The quarterly premium follows the same age-bracket schedule principle as CFE’s other plans, but on a reduced bracket that makes it cheaper than MondExpat for this group. An optional welfare pack (daily allowances, disability, death benefit) can be added for employees and the self-employed. After turning 30, the member falls under the general MondExpat plan — [TO BE VERIFIED] the exact terms of this switch (automatic or not) are to be confirmed with CFE.
Example
A 24-year-old student going on a year-long university exchange in Canada can take out JeunExpat Santé before departure, to be covered from the moment they arrive with no waiting period or medical questionnaire.
